Alumni Association of the DUDTDS under the International University of Arts and Design (IZOUIS)
The Alumni Association of DUDTDS was founded in 2004. Initially led by the president L. Davaanyam (Honored Artist of Mongolia) and secretary P. Ariunjargal (a certified architect), the association started with around 20 members and has been actively working ever since. The association consistently prepares and implements work plans for regular and anniversary events, with regular reviews and analyses of its performance.
The university administration maintains constant communication with the alumni association, providing mutual support and assistance. Over the last five years, the association has implemented various activities based on planned actions as well as spontaneous initiatives, some of which are highlighted below:
- Regular Participation in School Events
Alumni regularly participate in the university’s anniversary celebrations and other important meetings.
- Collaboration with the University Administration
The alumni association collaborates with the university administration to conduct research on the employment status of alumni, identifying challenges related to their professional education.
- Supporting Continuous Development of Alumni
The association works to expand opportunities for the ongoing development of alumni, supporting them in their respective sectors and industries.
- Internships for Students
Alumni provide opportunities for students to gain practical experience through internships and are involved in contract agreements with students in collaboration with the university.
- Involvement in University Governance
Alumni representatives participate in the university’s governing council and program committees, providing input and feedback on the strategic goals and future development of the school and its programs.
- Promoting the University
Alumni actively promote their alma mater, engaging in various promotional activities.
- Organizing Alumni Competitions and Sports Events
The alumni association organizes sports events and alumni competitions, fostering a strong community spirit.
- Contributing to Improving the Educational Environment
Alumni make contributions, both financial and advisory, to improve the educational environment at the university.

Future Plans:
- Continuation of Regular Activities
The Alumni Association plans to continue its regular activities in the autumn and spring, maintaining consistent engagement with alumni.
- Blockchain Integration for Diplomas
There are plans to store alumni diplomas on a blockchain platform, ensuring secure and verifiable records of graduates.
- Supporting Professional Development Abroad
The association aims to support alumni in pursuing further education abroad, advancing in their professions, and obtaining a second degree. It is also important to support alumni in becoming experts in their fields.
This consistent and collaborative effort between the university and its alumni creates a sustainable network that benefits both current students and graduates, furthering the overall development of the institution.
